Unorthodox Racing Pulley kits...The reason other brands of pulleys fail is due to simple structural weaknesses. Although we will admit pulleys are particularly complex to design there are some basic fundamentals that company’s who dabble in pulleys fail to follow. Cross section thickness is critical especially the further out the centerline of the belt/s are from the mounting face. We have established minimum thicknesses after many years of testing and finite element analysis. The cross section thickness is also very important on big power cars because during spool up enormous forces are put on the crank and other pulleys during the rapid acceleration. One other important area is design of lightening holes, many companies that dabble with pulleys also choose to slot their parts to lighten them, we have found that using round lightening holes without slotting to be the safest method to guarantee structural strength.

 

So when you want pulleys don’t settle for something questionable go with “The Original”!
